Ogilvie Fleet is delighted to announce the launch of its new Future Leaders Programme (FLP) in partnership with Geneva Management Consultants to identify, develop and retain talent across the business.
Open to colleagues across Ogilvie Fleet, regardless of their current role or seniority, the FLP was created to support the company’s future leaders through a structured development pathway. Introduced as part of Managing Director Nick Hardy’s wider people-focused strategy, the programme is designed to help identify internal talent pools, recognise leadership potential and encourage the transfer of knowledge and expertise across the organisation.

With an average employee length of service of over 10 years, alongside recognition through Investors in People and Best Companies accreditation, Ogilvie Fleet continues to invest heavily in employee development, retention and long-term career progression.
Ten candidates have now been selected for the inaugural FLP cohort and will take part in a tailored development programme combining mentor support from senior managers, personal development workshops, increased exposure to wider business operations and senior leadership decision-making, formal qualifications where appropriate, and additional networking and development opportunities designed to support both personal and professional growth.
Alongside the FLP launch, Ogilvie Fleet has also formalised its Operational Leadership Team (OLT), further strengthening progression pathways and succession planning across the organisation. The OLT will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to support both individual and group development and training plans in the months ahead.
Nick Hardy, Managing Director at Ogilvie Fleet, said:
“The launch of our Future Leaders Programme represents another important step in the continued development of our people and our business. We have incredibly strong talent across Ogilvie Fleet and this programme is about recognising that potential, investing in it and creating clear opportunities for progression.
“What has been particularly encouraging throughout the process is the depth of capability, ambition and leadership qualities demonstrated by colleagues across the business, which gives us great confidence for the future.”
Douglas Haddow, Director at Geneva Management Consultants, said: “Working alongside Ogilvie Fleet on the development of the Future Leaders Programme has highlighted the strength of culture and ambition that exists throughout the organisation. The programme has been carefully designed to help identify and develop future leadership capability, while giving participants valuable exposure, mentoring and personal development opportunities that will support both individual and business growth over the years ahead.”
