Joint the Ogilvie Fleet team today

4 min read

Build your career at Ogilvie Fleet – driving growth through our team.

After another year of strong performance, recognition across the industry and continued investment in people, Ogilvie Fleet is expanding its team, welcoming ambitious individuals who want to be part of a business that truly puts its people first.

We are looking for business development managers or account managers to join our team to manage our growing client base and nurture new prospects. This an exciting time to be joining an award-winning team as we approach our 50th anniversary.

At the heart of Ogilvie’s success is its culture built on trust, innovation, and loyalty. That culture has been recognised with its Best Companies 2 Star (Outstanding) accreditation for six consecutive years, which Ogilvie achieved through its commitment to development and wellbeing. Combined with Investors in People Platinum status, our support for colleagues is what keeps our teams engaged with an average length of service over 10 years.

These achievements reflect how Ogilvie is a place where people feel heard, supported and able to thrive, enabling them to build a meaningful and progressive career in the fleet industry.

As Ogilvie continues to expand its national presence, we are strengthening our sales and business development teams. These are key roles that reinforce Ogilvie as a partner who cares for its customers, and helps organisations transition to smarter, more sustainable fleet solutions.

This is an opportunity to join a high‑performing team where each contribution directly influences Ogilvie’s success and where progression is encouraged.

Progression for within: Future Leaders Programme & SLT Pathways

Ogilvie’s ethos is strongly in favour of growing its leaders, not hiring from outside. This year marked the launch of its Future Leaders Programme (FLP) – a structured development pathway, which is open to colleagues across the business, regardless of role or seniority.

Alongside this, Ogilvie has also defined its Operational Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team, and created frameworks that offer clear progression routes for those ready to take the next step. This expanded investment in people is already shaping the next generation of Ogilvie leaders.

A supportive and forward-thinking team

Whether its sales, customer services or any other part of the business, Ogilvie has a strong focus on curating a supportive and collaborative culture with a strong focus on wellbeing, with mental health support and flexible working.

It offers flexible working, early-finish Fridays every other week, a competitive benefits package, 32 days holiday, long-service awards, ongoing learning and development and a pathway to long-term progression.

For sales professionals the opportunity also includes uncapped commission, a company electric vehicle, and the chance to work with a respected FN50 brand that continues to grow year-on-year.

What is it like working for Ogilvie?

No two days are the same. One day I’m meeting with customers we’ve been working with for years to solve challenges and help improve their fleet, the next I’m pitching to new businesses to showcase how Ogilvie can help improve on what they’re currently doing. If you’re looking for a company where you can make an impact and be rewarded to do so then Ogilvie is a great place to be. You’ll be given everything you need to make that happen and be successful.
Ollie Rudd, Area Sales Manager
Ogilvie’s culture is collaborative, grounded, and genuinely supportive. There’s a strong sense of trust across the team; people are given ownership but never left on their own. It’s not overly corporate or full of buzzwords… thankfully there’s very little “circle back” or “blue sky thinking” flying around. Instead, it’s practical, honest, and focused on getting the job done together. What stands out is the balance between professionalism and people first thinking. Decisions aren’t just made based on process; they consider the real-world impact on customers and employees. There’s also a strong emphasis on long-term relationships, both internally and externally, which creates a more stable and positive working environment compared to more transactional businesses.
Ranjit Grewal, Business Development Manager
I enjoy speaking to people and finding out what they do and why they do it. Is there a better way of doing things? How much time could you save by doing something different?I love building relationships. Getting a fleet manager to trust us and to put their faith and confidence in us.When things don’t go to plan, I love finding solutions and reinvigorating that trust to make the relationship work and become even stronger.
Adrian Horton, Corporate Account Manager
