Ogilvie Fleet has delivered its highest ever score in the recent UK-wide 2021 Best Companies to Work for survey since it joined the scheme in 2016.
Its score of 714.3 is a 2.5% increase over 2019 (696.6) meaning it has retained its two-star status with 93% of staff completing the annual survey. This result makes Ogilvie the best vehicle leasing company to work for in the UK.
Ogilvie also achieved 9th place in the Top 20 Best Business Service companies list and made the UK’s 100 Best Mid-sized Companies to work for list at number 74 which completes an amazing performance during a difficult year for the industry. It was also 31st on the Scotland and 29th on the Yorkshire and Humber lists. Ogilvie’s only area identified for improvement was employee communication which is already being addressed.
“This performance represents a fantastic achievement during a very unusual 12 months,” explained Gordon Stephen, Ogilvie Fleet’s MD.
“It is always good to receive feedback from our staff, especially when they have been working from home for the majority of the last 14 months. We are delighted with the results and thank our teams for the incredible work done during this time,” he added.
The results followed a major investment in technology in early 2020 that gave all staff the capability to securely work from home, something that proved critical following the pandemic.
Remote working during the pandemic has proved successful for the Ogilvie Fleet team, which has been extremely busy supporting its customers and launching a range of new initiatives including:
• Forming a Green Fleet Task Force to inform staff about the future of ‘green’ fleets and support clients with the introduction of plug-in/electric vehicles
• Adding EVs to its Ogilvie True Cost (OTC) matrix calculator to enable fleets to more precisely represent actual costs associated with operating individual vehicles
• Rolling out its Fleet Management Reporting Software to enable Account Managers to easily breakdown thousands of data points to present to clients
Meanwhile, many of Ogilvie’s fleet customers also appeared prominently in the lists including RoadChef, The Works and Bibby Group.
“Congratulations to all our customers that appeared in the survey, we are proud to be their fleet partner,” said Gordon Stephen.
Ogilvie raised £585 for Cancer Research UK after donating £5 per completed employee survey to the charity.
