Duty of Care responsibilities are key elements of any Fleet Manager’s responsibility.

These responsibilities cannot be overlooked, or taken for granted, by any company who has employees drive on business related matters. Your responsibility is to ensure that both your drivers and your vehicles meet all legal requirements, are ‘fit for purpose’, and are maintained to the appropriate standards. This ‘Duty Of Care’ obligation encompasses occasional and additional drivers and also driver’s privately owned vehicles if they use these on company business.
