What should I do in the event of an accident?

  • Stop the vehicle
  • Switch off the engine
  • Switch hazard lights on
  • Leave car and remove all parties from danger

Should I call the police?

You should call 999 immediately if:

  • Anyone is injured
  • The road is blocked
  • A criminal offence has occured
  • Anyone has left the scene
  • Any property has been damaged, including street furniture and signage

You should always contact your insurance company or accident management provider after any type of incident.
