As Audi prepares for its latest addition to the Q range of SUV’s – the Q2 – we take a look at the model that Audi believes opens up the brand to a new segment.
At just over 4 metres long and 2 metres wide, the Q2 is similar in size to the A3, only with a slightly beefier trim to fit in with the rest of the Q range. The sporty design also boasts a new grille, contrasting C-pillars and a shoulder that runs across both doors.
The Q2 is packed with technology that is normally found further up the Audi range, including a raft of safety features such as side assist, active lane assist and adaptive cruise control. A 7” multimedia interface (MMI) display screen is fitted as standard, alongside a smartphone interface for both iOS and Android devices, borrowed from the new A4.
Two petrol and two diesel engines will be available at launch, with the 2.0 TDI 150PS S tronic available later in the year.
