We always believe in providing Trust and Transparency to all our customers but our latest efforts with our transparent end of contract process has received glowing praise from our customers and the press.
We've always tried to be fair with any damage recharges but in the past 44% of the charges were queried so we changed the way we operate. We now operate a standard fixed-cost matrix that applies to all our customers, across all their contracts. Irrespective of whether a company car is a supermini or from the executive sector, we will apply the same recharge amounts for any damage: £75 for a door panel, front wings and rear quarter panels; £120 for a bonnet, boot lid, tailgate, bumper or roof. This has led to a 100% acceptance rate for our end-of contract charges.
Ogilvie Fleet operations director Jim Hannah said: “We want customers to have a pleasurable experience when they lease vehicles from us and not for it to be tainted by a battle over end-of-contract charges.”
