Members of staff from Ogilvie Fleet’s Sheffield office are raising funds for two local charities by attempting to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The challenge involves climbing three of Yorkshires biggest peaks in the space of 12 hours, which covers 25 miles and 5,200ft of ascent.
The five team members are helping to raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice and the Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme. St Luke’s helps people with incurable diseases by offering care and support to both the patient and their loved ones with the aim of giving them the best possible quality of life. The SWFC Community Programme promotes the development of cohesive communities around South Yorkshire and seeks to increase engagement, training provision and support amongst its residents. All raised funds will be split equally between the two charities.
The five team members will complete a clockwise route of Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m), three of the Yorkshire Dales biggest peaks.
If you would like to sponsor the team, no matter how large or small, you can do so here. Every penny will be gratefully received.
