Ogilvie Fleet, one of the UK’s leading contract hire and leasing companies, are celebrating a 10 year partnership with the Sheffield Steelers. Ogilvie opened an office in Chapeltown a decade ago as a customer service and sales base for the north of England with just 6 members of staff. That number has now risen to over 30, with 5 of the original 6 still employed by Ogilvie.
Ogilvie’s long-standing relationship with the Steelers has included shirt sponsorship, dasher boards and sponsored games, with this year’s support including the warm-up shirts and the Ogilvie logo on the ice. Ogilvie Fleet also provide the player’s cars that fans will have seen around the arena on a game day.
Nick Hardy, Sales and Marketing Director at Ogilvie and Steelers fan, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have supported the Steelers throughout the last 10 years and are looking forward to what the future brings. Our sponsorship has given us some great exposure and our sponsored games are always great fun for both clients and staff. We have built a great bond with hockey fans throughout the country with our support of other teams close to our regional office Braehead Clan, which makes for some very interesting games for us!”
