More awards success for Ogilvie fleet as online reporting tool MiFleet retains top ‘techie’ title!

Now operating a fleet of more than 11,000 company cars and vans, we’re delighted to announce that we have won the Leasing and Contract Hire category of the annual BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards - known in the industry as the ‘Techies’ for the second consecutive year.

The Award was for our introduction of more driver and fleet manager friendly enhancements to MiFleet Showroom 2, the successor to the original MiFleet Showroom, which secured a highly commended in ‘The Techies’ two years ago.

Paul Barker, editor of fleet industry publication BusinessCar, said: “It’s deeply impressive that Ogilvie Fleet has improved its already ‘Techie’ Award-winning MiFleet Showroom 2 system, so this award is even more richly deserved. The additional features brought through in the last 12 moths compliment what is already a leading system that cleverly employs technology to ensure fleet managers’ roles are a little less time-consuming in terms of managing their vehicles and drivers.”

Transparent End of Contract Damage Charges

Posted on:

We always believe in providing Trust and Transparency to all our customers but our latest efforts with our transparent end of contract process has received glowing praise from our customers and the press.

We've always tried to be fair with any damage recharges but in the past 44% of the charges were queried so we changed the way we operate. We now operate a standard fixed-cost matrix that applies to all our customers, across all their contracts. Irrespective of whether a company car is a supermini or from the executive sector, we will apply the same recharge amounts for any damage: £75 for a door panel, front wings and rear quarter panels; £120 for a bonnet, boot lid, tailgate, bumper or roof. This has led to a 100% acceptance rate for our end-of contract charges.

Ogilvie Fleet operations director Jim Hannah said: “We want customers to have a pleasurable experience when they lease vehicles from us and not for it to be tainted by a battle over end-of-contract charges.”
