“At Ogilvie the Account Manager remains with the client”
Delphi has been working with Ogilvie Fleet since March 2011. Prior to this date Delphi had agreements with a number of leading UK Leasing Companies but due to financial circumstances associated with the Delphi parent company registered in the US, these leasing companies decided not to provide any additional cars to Delphi UK.
In the search to identify a new lease provider only Ogilvie were able to provide a credit line and agree to Delphi payment terms for new vehicles. A key benefit in the way Ogilvie manage the relationship is that the Account Manager remains with the client throughout the life of the agreement rather than transfer the account to an Operations Department. This provides continuity and builds confidence in the partnership.
Ogilvie invests significantly in IT systems and Delphi has been able to transfer the RFQ process on line via a driver portal replacing an inefficient manual administration. Delphi has awarded Single Supplier Status to Ogilvie in July 2014 and is looking to transfer the entire leasing management process from order to disposal to them in 2015.
