MiFleet Showroom retains top ‘techie’ award!

More awards success for Ogilvie fleet as online reporting tool MiFleet retains top ‘techie’ title!

Now operating a fleet of more than 11,000 company cars and vans, we’re delighted to announce that we have won the Leasing and Contract Hire category of the annual BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards - known in the industry as the ‘Techies’ for the second consecutive year.

The Award was for our introduction of more driver and fleet manager friendly enhancements to MiFleet Showroom 2, the successor to the original MiFleet Showroom, which secured a highly commended in ‘The Techies’ two years ago.

Ogilvie Fleet leads the UK contract hire and leasing industry after becoming the first vehicle leasing and fleet management company to win a top industry customer service award four times in succession.

We're delighted to announce that we have won another award, this time it comes from FleetEye and is our fifth award in the last five years.

This year we have been recognised for our customer innovation, the award builds on our unprecedented quartet of customer service awards won in the last four years thus further underlining our leadership of the UK contract hire and leasing industry in putting our clients first. The award was presented to Ogilvie Fleet Sales and Marketing director Nick Hardy by Rick Yarrow, Experteye’s managing director, in recognition of its innovative approach to the measurement and deployment of customer satisfaction initiatives.

We are one of many contract hire and fleet management companies to use the feedback from Experteye’s Fleeteye CSI survey for ongoing service initiatives and one of its most recent initiatives saw implementation of the Touchpoint driver feedback programme. The award for customer innovation is in response to the very high level of engagement of our customers in the survey, the significant number of service advancements made as a result of client feedback and the excellent customer satisfaction levels achieved.

Ogilvie Fleet are now ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certified

At Ogilvie we always thought that we had great processes in place but this has now been officially recognised after we secured ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.

Our Customer Service has won industry awards but as a result of achieving the international quality management standard (ISO 9001) and international environmental management standard (ISO 14001), we believe we now have all the credentials in place to secure new business with major public and private fleets.

Expanding Ogilvie Fleet has underlined its industry-leading position with another title - the Customer Service trophy in the annual awards from trade publication BusinessCar.

The trophy is the second industry award that Ogilvie Fleet has collected in 2019, the company’s 40th anniversary year, having won the Leasing Company of the Year (up to 20,000 vehicles) title at the annual ‘Oscars’ hosted by industry publication Fleet News.

Averaging more than two industry awards per year this decade, Ogilvie Fleet has increased its leased fleet size by almost 1,000 company cars and vans to 16,700 units in the past 12 months with a further almost 3,000 units under fleet management, up around 1,000 units on a year ago.

That makes Ogilvie Fleet one of the fastest growing contract hire and leasing companies through core fleet expansion - as opposed to white label growth via manufacturer-backed leasing schemes. 

Simon Harris, editor of BusinessCar, explaining why Ogilvie Fleet won the Customer Service Award, said: “The company had many testimonials from satisfied clients and we were impressed by Ogilvie Fleet’s fuss-free approach to helping its customers and providing them with the advice they may need. 24721 627Once again our industry leading customer service has been recognised with an award! We were revealed as the winner of the 2013 FN50 Customer Service Team Award at a gala dinner attended by more than 850 leading fleet industry figures at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, London.

This year it was our Disposals Team of Rose Anne Roy (team leader), Lianne Dick and Lauren Rutherford that won the Award for providing customer service excellence to our clients. This follows a win in the 2012 FN50 awards when our Customer Service Team was triumphant.

Additionally, Daily Rental Operations Manager Ian Bennett, who joined Ogilvie Fleet in October 2012, was highly commended in the 2013 Customer Service Rising Star Award category. Following Ian’s appointment our Daily Rental operation has more than doubled with further growth anticipated. Well done guys and girls!

Fast-expanding and customer-focused Ogilvie Fleet has won its first industry ‘Oscar’ capping a remarkable awards-laden start to 2012 for the business.

Ogilvie Fleet, which has seen the number of company cars and vans supplied to customers increase to almost 11,000 in the past 12 months, won the Best Customer Service Award at the annual awards hosted by industry publication Fleet News.
